Yuan Yan Tang (Life Fellow, IEEE) received the BSc degree in electrical and computer engineering from Chongqing University, Chongqing, China, the MEng degree in electrical engineering from the Beijing Institute of Posts and Telecommunications, Beijing, China, and the PhD degree in computer science from Concordia University, Montreal, QC, Canada. He is currently an Emeritus chair professor with the Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Macau, and a professor/adjunct professor/honorary professor with several institutes, including Chongqing University, China, Concordia University, and Hong Kong Baptist University, Hong Kong. His current interests include wavelets, pattern recognition, and image processing. He is the founder and the chair of Pattern Recognition Committee, IEEE SMC. He has serviced as the general chair, program chair, and committee member of many international conferences. He is the founder and the general chair of the International Conferences on Wavelets Analysis and Pattern Recognition (ICWAPRs) series. He is the founder and the editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Wavelets, Multiresolution and Information Processing (IJWMIP). He is a fellow of IAPR.
Prof. Sos S. Agaian

Sos S. Agaian, PhD in Mathematics, Dr, Engineering Science, and is a Distinguished Professor of Computer Science at College of Staten Island and the Graduate Center, City University of New York (CUNY). Prior to joining CUNY, Dr. Agaian was the Peter T. Flawn Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Texas at San Antonio; Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences UTHSCSA at San Antonio; Professor, UT System Cyber and Cloud Security Initiative, and Director of Multimedia and Mobile Signal Processing Laboratory. He has been a visiting faculty at the Tufts University, the Tampere Institute of Technology, and the Leading Scientist at the AWARE, Inc. at Bedford, MA. Dr. Agaian received his M.S. in Mathematics and Mechanics (summa cum laude) from the Yerevan State University, Armenia; his Ph.D. in Mathematics and Physics from the Steklov Institute of Mathematics, Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS); and his Doctor of Engineering Sciences degree from the Institute of Control Systems, RAS.

Wenhua Qian received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from Yunnan University, Kunming, China, in 2005 and 2010, respectively.,Since 2017, he has been a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with the Department of Automation, Southeast University, Nanjing, China. He is currently a Professor with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, and Associate Dean of the School of Information Science and Technology at Yunnan University. His current research interests include non-photorealistic rendering and image processing. He has presided over nearly 20 scientific research projects, including 3 National Natural Science Foundation of China projects, 1 Ministry of Education New Teacher Fund for Doctoral Points project, 1 National Postdoctoral Science Foundation project, 1 Yunnan Provincial Department of Science and Technology key applied basic research project, 2 general projects, 2 Yunnan Provincial Department of Education key projects, and 1 Jiangsu Provincial Postdoctoral Science Foundation project. He has published over 60 academic papers in journals and conferences, published 2 monographs, applied for 7 national invention patents, obtained over 10 computer software copyrights, and was awarded a Third Prize in the 2017 Yunnan Province Natural Science Awards (ranked 3rd). He has guided graduate students in competitions including the U.S. Mathematical Contest in Modeling, the National Challenge Cup, the National Graduate Mathematical Modeling Contest, the Pan Pearl River Delta Region Computer Contest, the Yunnan Province Computer Contest, etc., winning over 20 special prizes, first prizes and other awards.

His achievements were selected as the cover paper of CAA-A class international journal, the best paper nomination award of CCF-B class international conference, won the second prize of Hubei Province Science and Technology Progress Award, and made the Keynote Speech at several international conferences.
Prof. Azlan bin Mohd Zain

Azlan Mohd Zain (Member, IEEE) received the master’s degree in science (productivity and quality improvement) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and the Ph.D. degree in computer science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), in 2010. He is currently a Professor with the Faculty of Engineering, School of Computing, UTM. He is also the Director of the UTM Big Data Research Centre. As an academic staff, he has successfully supervised more than 25 postgraduate students and received more than 20 research grant funding to support research students. He has published more than 100 research papers. He has been invited as keynote speaker at over five international conferences, serves on numerous committees, and has served on editorial board for three international journals.

Professor Xiangjian (Sean) He received his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Technology Sydney in 1999. He is currently the Deputy Head of Computer Science School and the Director of Computer Vision and Intelligent Perception Laboratory at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC). He is a National Talent of China with a Chair Professor title, and in list of the 'World Top 2% Scientists' reported by Stanford University in 2022, 2023, etc. He was the Professor of Computer Science and the Leader of Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition Laboratory at the Global Big Data Technologies Centre (GBDTC) at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) from 2011-2022. He was an IEEE Signal Processing Society Student Committee member. He was involved in a team receiving a UTS Chancellor's Award for Research Excellence through Collaboration in 2018. He has been awarded 'Internationally Registered Technology Specialist' by International Technology Institute (ITI). He led the UTS and Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) joint research project teams winning the 1st Runner-Up prize for the 2017 VIP Cup, and the champion for the 2019 VIP Cup, awarded by IEEE Signal Processing Society. In 2021, the team, PolyUTS, led by Prof Lam of PolyU and co-led by Prof He of UTS again won the 1st Runner-Up award for the 2021 VIP Cup. He has been carrying out research mainly in the areas of computer vision, data analytics and machine learning in the previous years. He has recently been leading his research teams for deep-learning-based research for human behavious recognition, human counting and density estimation, tiny object detection, biomedical applications, saliency detection, natural language processing, cybersecurity, face and face expression recognition, road sign detection, license plate recognition, etc. He has played various chair roles in many international conferences such as ACM MM, MMM, ICDAR, IEEE BigDataSE, IEEE BigDataService, IEEE TrustCom, IEEE CIT, IEEE AVSS, IEEE ICPR and IEEE ICARCV.
