Prof. Guangjie Han

Guangjie Han (Fellow, IEEE) is currently a Professor with the Department of Internet of Things Engineering, Hohai University, Changzhou, China. He received his Ph.D. degree from Northeastern University, Shenyang, China, in 2004. In February 2008, he finished his work as a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Department of Computer Science, Chonnam National University, Gwangju, Korea. From October 2010 to October 2011, he was a Visiting Research Scholar with Osaka University, Suita, Japan. From January 2017 to February 2017, he was a Visiting Professor with City University of Hong Kong, China. From July 2017 to July 2020, he was a Distinguished Professor with Dalian University of Technology, China. His current research interests include Internet of Things, Industrial Internet, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, Mobile Computing, Security and Privacy. Dr. Han has over 500 peer-reviewed journal and conference papers, in addition to 160 granted and pending patents. Currently, his H-index is 60 and i10-index is 257 in Google Citation (Google Scholar). The total citation count of his papers raises above 13600+ times.
Dr. Han is a Fellow of the UK Institution of Engineering and Technology (FIET). He has served on the Editorial Boards of up to 10 international journals, including the IEEE TII, IEEE TCCN, IEEE Systems, IEEE/CCA JAS, IEEE Network, etc. He has guest-edited several special issues in IEEE Journals and Magazines, including the IEEE JSAC, IEEE Communications, IEEE Wireless Communications, Computer Networks, etc. Dr. Han has also served as chair of organizing and technical committees in many international conferences. He has been awarded 2020 IEEE Systems Journal Annual Best Paper Award and the 2017-2019 IEEE ACCESS Outstanding Associate Editor Award. He is a Fellow of IEEE.
Dr. Cheng Chin

Dr Cheng Siong Chin is a Chair Professor in Intelligent Systems Modelling and Simulation at Newcastle University and an Adjunct Professor at Chongqing University, School of Automotive Engineering. He received his Ph.D. in Applied Control Engineering at Research Robotics Centre at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in 2008 and his M.Sc. (Distinction) in Advanced Control and Systems Engineering from The University of Manchester in 2001. He also received a B.Eng. (Hons) degree in Mechanical and Production Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in 2000. Before moving into academia, he worked in the consumer electronics industry for a few years. He obtained 6 Economic Development Board (EDB)-Industrial Postgraduate Programme (IPP) and 2 Singapore Maritime Institute (SMI) grants from the Singapore government in intelligent systems design, simulation, and predictive analytics. He has achieved over 150 publications, 5 authored books, 2 Singapore Patent Applications, and 3 US Patents. He also received DCASE2019 Judges' Award in IEEE AASP Challenge on DCASE2019. He is an Associate Editor for IEEE Access Journal, Applied Artificial Intelligence, IEEE Transportation Electrification Community (TEC) eNewsletter, and editorial board member of Electronics. He has served as General Chair, Keynote Speaker, Session Chair, and Technical Committee at numerous international conferences.

Prof. Yudong Zhang worked as a postdoc from 2010 to 2012 at Columbia University, USA, and as an Assistant Research Scientist from 2012 to 2013 with the Research Foundation of Mental Hygiene (RFMH), USA. He served as a Full Professor from 2013 to 2017 at Nanjing Normal University. Now he serves as a Chair Professor at the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences, University of Leicester, UK. He is also (Honorary) Professor at universities in China, India, and Saudi Arabia. His research interests include deep learning and medical image analysis.
He is the Honorary Follow of World Leadership Academy, Fellow of IET, Fellow of EAI, and Fellow of BCS. He is the Senior Member of IEEE, IES, and ACM. He is the Distinguished Speaker of ACM. He was included in Most Cited Chinese Researchers (Computer Science) by Elsevier from 2014 to 2018. He was 2019, 2021 & 2022 recipient of Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher. He is included in World’s Top 2% Scientist by Stanford University from 2020 to 2022. He won the Emerald Citation of Excellence 2017, Information Fusion 2022 Best Paper Award, etc. His three papers are included in UK Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2021.
